Our week with Anderson begins almost the same way every day. When Melissa walks in the door, Anderson's eyes will dart past me to look for Bop. His voice is very urgent as he calls out, "Bop! Bop!" He wants to make sure his arrival is known. Anderson toddles across the kitchen very quickly to get in Bop's arms as he finishes Melissa's breakfast. Anderson will warn Bop to be careful in his vast vocabulary, "Hot! Hot!" I look at Vince as he replies every time, "I know, buddy, it is hot." After he finishes his own breakfast in his high chair, he wants to check out what Bop is eating. He loves to feed his Bop breakfast.
It is time to play a little bit before nap time. Hide and seek is a favorite and so is throwing balls. We have recently learned to play with blocks. I think Bop has more fun at this than Anderson; he loves to see how tall he can build it before Anderson knocks it down.
In the morning, I try to walk with my neighbors. If the weather permits, I take Anderson with me. If not, Bop gives Anderson milk and keeps him happy until I get back or put him to sleep if he falls asleep. Sometimes it does not work and they both fall asleep.
During the course of the week, wherever Bop is, his shadow is helping out...

After all of this hard work, he does need a break. We have to replenish his energy for spending the day with Bop.
Of course, good ol' Noni is good for some things. I am not totally forgotten, as I somehow always have diaper patrol. I try to make sure Anderson enjoys the simple things in life, like blowing bubbles, writing with chalk, reading books and smelling the flowers. Yes, a dandelion is a flower!
While he loves his Bop, he loves his Noni too and is proud to wear his shirt for all the world to see!p.s.-his glasses and cougar are missing in some pictures below because they are not all from one week. I am not like his mom and don't always have my camera ready. Even if I do, the pictures are not always that great!
This is by far one of my favorite all time posts. Period. I especially love the pictures of Anderson being a big helper. Anderson has the best Noni & Bop ever!
