Anderson is definitely a boy as he has some kind of genetic obsession with truck & tractors that has just started kicking in over the last month. It is so, so cute because he gets so excited about seeing one & will point & yell. It is a pretty handy addiction to have since they are widely available for us to stalk, especially since there is construction in Noni's neighborhood!

Fun toy from the Futchers!

Truck pjs that I bought a year ago! So glad that his interests feed into my clearance purchases. Also, all of the trucks pictured are from Aunt Manda, which is proof that she is a mom of boys. She knew this was coming.

Oh, heaven. Bop even lets him honk the horn!

Noni's backyard!

It's not a truck or tractor, but a shout out to the moose! It is so cute to read this book because he frantically points out the moose on every page. There are about 30 pictures of the moose, so this is a process.

He sees one! Seriously, we have to stop on the side of the road to watch the garbage men.

The Easter tractor at church! Well, I called it a tractor but Brandon said it is actually a backhoe. I guess I have to brush up on my tractor lingo.
I love the picture of him reading the truck book... He does love his tractors, or rather I should say he is obsessed with his tractors.
ReplyDeleteI love love love the franticness that comes with seeing a truck! It's such a boy thing to do - awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love this! A boy is a boy is a boy, I guess. Trucks, tractors, trains - they LOVE them. They are building right next door to Jeremy's school, and his teachers say all the construction guys know Jeremy by name and say hi to him each day. He spends most of his outside time chatting with them by the fence. And yes, you better start brushing up on your truck lingo - it is very technical and Anderson will quickly catch on to the face you don't know the difference between a digger and a backhoe!
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny! Brandon was the same way! He loved his heavy equipment! I remember riding in the car with him and he would point out all the equipment and knew all the correct names for them! Going over the TN/NC mountains to Charlotte pointing out all the "trucks". That was....how many years ago? Wow! A great distraction when in the car and he was fussy. "Look for the trucks, B. Where's the cement mixer?" GG will recall this!!
ReplyDeleteLove to all!
yes you do have to brush up on the tractor lingo. by the time morgan could count and say her abc's, jacob was doing neither but could name each type of tractor on sight. and there are a LOT of different ones.
