I think it is technically only a week into fall, so some of these are from the summer, but I still need to share them.
I am labeling it fall in the hopes that Mother Nature gets it together & gives us cooler temps.
These boys LOVE dirt, being outside and playing at Noni's.
This has got be childhood goals.
Another one-feeding ducks in pajamas.
Anderson was so proud of the great job that he did painting the playhouse at Noni's.
The last few weeks have had many flag football practices/games and these 2 have become best buddies on the playgrounds.
Dinner from Texas Roadhouse! Thank you, Noni!
Our girls/Levi came to visit us and we, of course, had a blast and found a festival.
It was the day of "Battle at Bristol" so these 2 participated in their own tailgate.
Max really wanted to win a helicopter at the festival, but the game was pretty hard.
So, of course, big brother for the win on that one. I love when there are small glimpses of the fact that they can coexist for actual minutes without fighting.
Cousins in a bounce house.
Lily invented a special concoction of sprite/lemonade/some other stuff and demonstrated how to do it to everyone.
Because a football game, playground & 4 hour festival is not enough, we also hit up our pool for a bit. There were other people there, but for some reason they left when they saw us enter the gate with the 5 kids....
I love everything about this picture. My kids have no idea how lucky they are to have cousins, a Noni so close, huge backyards to play in and adults who hoard summer clearance items.
Denise brought Anderson a shirt from Notre Dame & he proudly wore it to school. It gave me so many flashbacks to the days when we used to go to South Bend every fall for a football game. We are VFL, but we are also Catholic, so Notre Dame has to be on our list, too.
Max was SO happy to go to the new Dairy Queen! I have yet to make it because the line in the evening/weekends is always 25 cars deep.
Max snuck into a birthday party for a friend of Anderson's and he, of course, loved it.
Anderson figured out that when I am at "work" on Friday evenings, I am actually at football games. I have not been bringing him because I do not want to drive across town twice in the horrible Friday evening traffic and I do actually have to do things at the game so it is hard to add him to the mix. But, he had such a fun time, the kids were so sweet to him and we won, so it ended up being a pretty good time.
Max's class started Show & Tell and he was SO proud of his choice for T week.
"It's raining" is never followed with "so we can't go outside" at our house.
