Random April Moments

Noni & Bop are amazing and spent 3 hours at McKays letting Max pick out a ziploc bag of very specific legos. This is called the highest level of grandparenting.

Max & I are always on a quest to entertain ourselves during Anderson's practices so sometimes we leave and hit up random places...like ChickFilA.

This kid LIVES for green cokes. I mean, they are his favorite thing in the world, despite this weird face.

He made me dinner by destroying an apple. Seriously the sweetest.

This.haircut.was.a.game.changer.

So much fun with GG!

Max had some kind of random virus that put him down for a few days..but there is never such a thing as "too sick for jelly beans."

I love his school pics.

Max and Marley planned to wear matching camo one day and it was pretty much all of the things at the same time.

I love that their friendship is still going strong after 8 years!!

Max's new haircut is just all of the things.

Anderson is playing a spring session of Flag football with Noah. The first few games were freezing and raining (despite the fact that they are in shorts....) but he always loves a good flag game with his buddy.

I stopped by AE one day to visit a few people, including one of my all-time favorite students.

We visited Uncle Curtis at the Chalkwalk, which was really cool! We always love seeing him in action.

Orange & White game!

Posing with General Neyland.

Max always loves outings.

Anderson got THE FLU!!! Is this a post about April or February? He missed 2 days of school, 3 basketball games, a football game AND his First Reconciliation. But....tamiflu worked amazingly and he actually felt fine pretty quickly but he was still contagious so we had to stay away.

Bobble Cole & Noni came through on a random request and we now have tadpoles that we (hope and pray) will turn into frogs.

Just missing the Worm....

We are taking full advantage of our last days with our ditch.

Speaking of sunshine, we are all about being outside now that is has returned.

I love, love these moments when they actually get along.

The ice cream truck came by for a visit already.
I like being able to check this off the list for the summer.

We adopted 2 crayfish in addition to the 3 tadpoles, 2 dogs and 1 lizard. The crayfish did not bode too well....so we added a turtle, thanks to Bop!
