The rest of Fall

Brandon & Curtis took Anderson fishing which, let's be honest, covers all of his basic needs: outside, animals, some kind of tool.

They both love their time at GG's house and make sure to completely settle in and take over when they are there.

In an amazing twist in my life, Clare is Anderson's church class teacher. This rocks because she has already had to help me a few times by bringing him from school, she doesn't judge my parenting when he doesn't know basic things about Jesus and she is a hard core Catholic, so I know he is getting awesome information.

We hit up Anderson's school fall festival, which was at least 900 degrees outside, so not really "fall," but still really fun.

These puppies are always with us, just hanging out & driving us crazy.

There were all of these events at the YMCA festival and all that Anderson wanted to do was win the cake walk. After the first 36 tries, I told him that we could make a cake at home, but he refused to give up and after another few attempts, he ended up winning! Small goals, y'all.

Max's show & tell options are always my favorite and this one tops the list-K clearly stands for Kangaroo Reese.

Apparently he explained many times to everyone that the picture is not really a kangaroo, but is his cousin Reese in a kangaroo costume. You know, just in case there was confusion.

Anderson had a viral infection, acute bronchitis, the flu AND a stomach  bug within the course of about 6 weeks. And...he still barely sat down.

Max always makes up for Anderson's lack of sedentary activities.

A rare moment of collaboration as they plotted to crush the inflatable slide at our neighborhood festival.

Love, love, love the few moments that they are not killing each other.

His feet are actually as big as they look here.
Watching the Super Moon from the hood of the car because we are all about safety.

Noni took these 2 to the mall where Max remembered that he is, in fact, only 3.

Of the 5 kids that Nicole and I have between us, these 2 are the only ones who have even the slightest chance of resemblance, which further fuels my disbelief in Science.

  2. That kangaroo picture is the best. Had to screen shot it to my phone to keep showing Reese.

Also max alseep on the bed is so funny to me for some reason. Maybe because it is so unlike Anderson that it just seems shocking

  3. I feel like your bed is new? But then it also looks like I've seen it before?
