My sister is Mrs. Awesome. I know.
Apparently, there are these sisters who have become celebrities because of their vlogging and now they have a published book, make up line, clothing line,reality show deal, etc. ( based on my lack of knowledge of make up/fashion, I clearly have no idea of any of this)
I know all teachers have kids that they influence (Hello, greatest profession ever!), but I don't think they all go on to become "celebrities".
Also, Nicole did not tell me about this video, I just searched to find it. She showed me all of the fun stuff that "Blair" sent her for the girls (the girls!!) and then told me about her story.
It is crazy.
This is awesome! All we hope for as teachers is to make an impact, and it looks like your sister is just as good as that as you. I read both or your blogs all the time and am obsessed with your families, stories, etc. Can't wait to "meet" Max via the blog and hopefully Max and Anderson both in real life sometime too. Y'all are the coolest! Thanks for making an impact on kids- I still tell people all the time about my "Mrs. Awesome" who was a U.S. History teacher that took me to Europe!!!

Y'all (well i don't personally know Nicole, but I can just tell) are just plain awesome, although there is nothing plain about being awesome so I really don't understand that phrase. My point is thank you for being so encouraging, inspiring, and fabulous and thank you for blogging. It is a great way to still feel like I am sitting in your awesome classroom- just like Blaire, I hated missing your class! Happy Easter!!

ReplyDeleteThat is so so so so neat!!!! Nicole IS a celebrity and I totally wish she would've used her REAL name so more would know how amazing we all know Nicole is!!!
And she IS the epitome of optimism (you and her both). You're realist and also it-could-be-worse-ers but in a positive way.
