Ya'll know that we love our Vols, so when we found out our bowl game was going to be in Nashville, we had to make plans to attend.
Brandon bought 2 tickets & put them in an envelope in the Christmas tree, as a surprise for Anderson. I love seeing Anderson when he is truly excited about something because he just does not fake emotions for anyone. I also love that he is old enough to read about his own surprises because that makes them so much more authentic.
It was FREEZING* in Nashville that day but he did not seem to notice.
*So I was told as I was in the warmth of our house with Max.
In a lucky twist, the Partins went to the game too, so Anderson & Noah were able to play football to show the Vols how it's done.
I think the entire family was grateful that Brandon was able to get off of work to take Andersonto the game because, let's be honest, safety and fun are just at higher levels when he is in charge.
SO excited.
Also, the Rec Specs were not to be football festive, but rather because Anderson's glasses broke on Christmas. When you are 6 and you need a bifocal, replacing your glasses is not something that can be done quickly, so you be seeing many, many pics of these red guys.
These 2. Sigh.
Brandon did an amazing job of documenting and sending me lots and lots of updates throughout the day. And, that smile was very genuine because the Vols pulled off the victory!
