First, I am VERY disappointed in this post because I have zero family pics and, even worse, this is the only pic I have of Amanda who was the QUEEN of THANKSGIVING! Seriously, she cooked every meal-breakfasts, lunch, dinner...it was amazing and delicious and we love her!
For the first time EVER we went to Alabama for Thanksgiving and it was awesome. Of course it was awesome-we were in Alabama, Anderson played every sport imaginable with my awesome nephews, Amanda cooked EVERY MEAL and it was just a good time.
Except for one tiny little situation called Max the CRAZY.
This is the closest that we got to a family pic. Lily made all of the guys pose for a pic, but it was impromptu and Kyler & Noah were MIA.
When you are pregnant and doing the hokey pokey with your toddler, this is the result.
Noni loving on the babies.
My children are early risers, which surprises nobody who has ever read even one blog post of mine. I try (and fail) to prevent them waking everyone else up by doing things like hanging out in the closet for the 5am time slot of the mornings when we are at other people's houses.
The 2 of them were SO good together. Truly. They crafted and put on a play/program and for the first time ever, actually had fun with each other. It was nice.
The monkey goes everywhere with us.
Every party has a pooper and Max was DETERMINED to win the prize. He was awful and I think everyone there would agree that this face was basically all that we saw for 4 days/nights. In his defense, the kid cannot shake the sinus infections/ear infections (3 antibiotics in 6 weeks....#eartubefailure)
Awful. He really was awful. I love his little face, though.
The ONLY time that he was not crying was when we found this giant pile of rocks/excavator.
Anderson LOVES his cousins. I mean, so much. He truly thinks that he is their age and spent the entire time stalking them. They are the BEST troopers and always include him and go out of their way to love on him/play sports with him. At one point the couch was taken up by the 3 of them and Anderson said "There is nowhere to sit." There were actually 3 chairs open in the same room, but he meant on the couch with them, so they made room. It was precious.
There were some hard core basketball games.
Love my mom.
And this girl. She LOVES me. Lily is slightly indifferent to me, so it is so nice that someone finally realized that I AM YOUR MOM'S IDENTICAL TWIN! You SHOULD love me!
Nicole brought all kinds of crafts to make and color and eat (oreo turkey things) and my family was pretty grateful.
The man has some coloring skills.
This face pretty much sums up his throughs about Thanksgiving. Cute little shirt from GG!!
Anderson took random pics of people. I like this one.
Lily made place cards for everyone based on their favorite colors. She is adorable.
Another Anderson pic.
The only time he was not crying (besides the excavator) was when he was eating spaghetti with this giant spoon. I love this pic. He would not let us use another spoon once he saw this one. It was hilarious.
Nicole also brought some fun turkey feather game that killed a lot of time and proved how thankful I am for how prepared Nicole is to entertain them.
This girl. Look at those pigtails!
And, there was lacrosse playing.
Because they/we are crazy, we ventured out to Target on Black Friday and it proved to be a huge fiasco. But, the icees were half price, so there was a small win.
A tiny moment of hope.
Always. Playing. Football. (not usually holding Reese)
A high quality video of our Thanksgiving
Ferg flipping
A little Thanksgiving basketball.
Video #1 of why Brandon beat Noah at Horse
Video #2 (he bounced it off the garage wall)
Both of the above videos are also called, "Anderson's athleticism is clearly genetic."
