2 celebrations

Somehow I left off 2 very important celebrations from my random 'here is a bunch of stuff from May that I am too lazy to separate' post. 

First, Uncle Andrew turned 50 & LoLo gave him a surprise party at Pappaw's house! It was very fun (and hot :) LoLo provided toys for my kiddos to play with, so excuse Anderson's distraction here.

She even made him wear a special shirt to commemorate! The decorations were very cute & she really did a great job with the details.

And, as is always the case when we get together, there was a lot of eating!

That evening, we drove to Bristol to sit in the front row at the cutest dance recital ever! Seriously, Nicole snagged front row seats at the sold out venue. My mother's genes are strong. 

 This girl was the cutest thing I have literally ever seen. I mean, I would be lying if I said I didn't tear up just a tiny bit watching her on the stage COMPLETELY STEALING THE SHOW!

 This was the "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" dance. She was the leader, which surprises nobody.

Her first dance was "Me & My Teddy Bear" and when the curtain was pulled back, she totally saw us in the front row and I realized exactly why Nicole got there hours early to sit in the sun and snag those seats. Get used it, LilyPad, this is how we roll. (We will also be front row sitting through your entire adult life, so don't expect this to just be a childhood thing)

Anyway, dance is completely and totally her niche and she OWNED that stage. So glad that we were able to attend this year. 

And, no visit to Bobble Cole's is complete without fishing, basketball playing, Argo riding, etc. #boyheaven

Speaking of heaven, Reese was able to climb up with her Max (she says the X now), so she was pretty pumped, too!
