May was crazy. Really, May IS always going to be crazy as long as I am an educator. But this May also brought multiple graduations, Anderson's soccer/teeball/swim seasons, 2 out of town trips, sick puppies, sick kids, Mother's Day, Max's birthday, 4 birthday parties for Anderson to attend...and lots of fun!
Chloe continues to be crazy and overweight. Homegirl cannot drop pounds to save her life. I reduce her food, buy the low fat stuff, but no luck. I am thinking the lounging part of her lifestyle is the main contributor, but she is not giving up her pillows anytime soon.
My nephews at one of their last Lacrosse games. Proud of them.
Mom & I got pedicures on Mother's Day! It was such a fun way to spend time with my favorite person :)
Dinner with the Glovers!
Toni even managed to find Mother's Day themed apparel! Precious.
She has set the bar pretty high for me & my boys!
We started "reading" Harry Potter! I have waited my entire parenting life for this time & it is truly as magical as I hoped! (#nerd) I have to paraphrase a bit & explain parts, but he really does listen and at the end of each chapter I show him a YouTube clip from the movie. When we are done with the book, we are going to watch the movie. I am seriously so excited about this whole process.
So many birthday parties.
Speaking of Harry, HOW AWESOME IS THIS?? There just cannot be many sets of preschoolers that meet the Hogwarts criteria.Lacrosse...too much time with the cousins
We tried to get some pics taken and it was an epic fail. The kid does not really like people. But, he is so cute! Look at that little face!

Harry Potter!! Best day ever!!
ReplyDeleteI'm exhausted by your life... and I have 4 kids!
ReplyDeletein reference to max hugging everyone but you: jacob literally woke me up in the middle of the night last night because he had been lying there "thinking about what to get daddy for father's day and had a great idea." Funny, I don't recall Jon being awakened before mother's day...
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter. It's basically why we had kids- to pass Harry onto our children.
ReplyDeleteMax in his patriotic jammies. Love.
Chubby homegirl with her sedentary lifestyle.
