Brandon had to work the game and made sure we were front & center for the Vol Walk. I think I might trade that for him having to work all the games; it was pretty cool.
Anderson took high fiving the players very seriously. He asked why they were not in uniforms and I said they were going to change later and he asked, "Like the power rangers?"
**We had to play Vol Walk all weekend at home. He would walk by in his regular shirt and high five me and then he would go behind the couch and put his jersey on and say, "It's football time in Tennessee!" It was hilarious and my kind of game because I just got to sit there and stick my hand out.
Everyone loves when I make them pose for pictures.
So....it turns out that Uncle Hughes has really awesome season tickets that he let us use for this game! I am talking awesome.
Awesome= comfy seats with cup holders and backs AND an elevator to our seats AND an air conditioned area to hang out in and eat nachos while watching everyone walk around below us. I am pretty sure this is not how most 3 year olds spend their first game.
He had to put the helmet back on as soon as the players came out in theirs.

I think it is safe to say he is a VOL for LIFE already:)
Making his game face #camopatchkids
LOTS of football playing around here now. I always have to be the other "country" and he, of course, gets to be starting player for UT. His favorite position is anything that gets to tackle, which makes this game way more intense my preferred Vol Walk.

love it all! love playing vol walk at home, him changing clothes, you having to be the other country!!! all fantastic. I do love some football too!
ReplyDeleteWhen Jacob was little, before we got him his first helmet, he would grab a pair of my underwear and put it on his head...I have NO idea where he came up with that, but it did kinda look like a helmet...
anyway, how awesome are those seats!!!! we just may have to take advantage of that some day!
He is too cute! I am always working the gate during the Vol Walk, so I have not seen it in years. I should get Brian to take the kids. I love your Vol Walk game - any game where mom can sit on the couch is a good game to me!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finally finding a game that involves you sitting on the couch.
ReplyDeleteLIke the transformers? We will probably miss comments like that.
Also, maybe Bobble Cole was involved? I mean, I DID remember to ask if you wanted them. You are welcome.
Holy cow. You were so close to the band in the Vol Walk.
HIm asleep with his helmet= my favorite part for sure.
HE WAS PRECIOUS. I loved the Vol walk game.. And changing like the transformers. How cute is that. :)
