More than meets the Eyes.

Anderson inherited more than his looks from Brandon. Seriously, the love of Transformers has totally entered our house. But, how cute was Brandon with his new transformer? Answer-Ridiculously cute.

Ready for Halloween. Because the real Optimus wore a green patch and green glasses. Duh.

the village

It really does take a village to raise the kids. Thank God our village is run by the grandmas.

A walk with Noni,
followed by a mountain climbing adventure,
and a trip to Krispy Kreme as a pirate for free doughnuts,
and a picnic lunch with Bop,

combined with some swinging with Noni,
ending in a bath for the boys!
(Oh, and actually followed by dinner sent home to me...Have I mentioned how grateful I am??)
Some feeding of GG's new pet ducks in the backyard,
complete with snuggle time with Max,
lots and lots of playing with GG (and Brandon's old toys),
and play time with JPa!

family pics

My awesome friend, Saasha, gave me a mini portrait session with Rhonda Thompson Photography and the pics turned out so cute. I mean, I couldn't pick just one. Or ten. Sorry.
If I never take another picture, I have proof that I existed as the mom of both of them.

He was really cooperative. And cute.

Look at us! Together! In a picture!

I realize that this is possibly the one pic where Anderson was not smiling and it is the one where Max is, but it is still pretty cute of all 3 of my guys.

 #thoselips
She was so good and she kept making Anderson giggle. It was precious.
Thanks for the outfit, Bobble Cole. And, thanks for the face, GG! ha ha

A few pics of my Mr.

 I know.

 Harry Potter's smallest fan.

Clare got this pic. Love it!

 A boy loves his daddy.
Poor guy literally plays with whatever random toy I can find sitting around, like Anderson's Batman Tater Tot. (side note: Cousin Shae sends ALL of the cool Sonic toys to my boys and they are pretty cool. The reason the Batman Tater Tot was there is because Anderson always plays with it!)
 Little onesie from Noni.
 A snuggly selfie.
 His expression.
I just cannot resist taking diaper pictures of this guy.

Here's a random video

And another one

A few pics of daily life

Football season/too many random parent nights/etc. means lots of time for Brandon to bond with the boys. #awesomedad

Thank goodness some woman invented these bags because they save my sanity (you know it was a woman that thought of this)

My washing machine has a 9 hour timer on it, which is so helpful because it allows me to do laundry during the week. Now, it still generally has to sit in there for at least an hour or 2 before I get home, but it is definitely better than mildewing for 11 hours.
This is a project I am working on at Powell and because I am apparently grammatically special, I kept sending Nicole screen shots of it for corrections. It was easier than continuing to email her. Super thankful I am her job and that she did not make too much fun of me for my hypens.

You cannot walk through the room without Gabbi losing her mind because she thinks you are taking her out. Literally, she does this all day and night. Someone needs to tell her she has hip dysplasia and needs to be resting.

Real life playing generally consists of playing on the couch with whatever happens to be laying there. (Sidenote: He found the Christmas scene in the attic and brought it down to be the Transformer's planet. You have seen this before...)

No surprises here.
I love his daily reports from preschool and was so excited to see they read a book about glasses! (A book that we have, of course) I also like that they talk about diversity as 3 year olds and I wish I could have eavesdropped on that conversation.

The view of every mom everywhere on Sunday morning: coffee, a dog, baby feet, the older one running laps
Anderson is OBSESSED with Max. It is so sweet, but there is a lot of of time spent right up in his face.

Speaking of, I was totally right in deciding 2 boys was the way to go. Batman can't survive without Robin, after all. (Bobble Cole totally spoils these boys with random clothes like this)
