Max: 2 months!

2 months in and he is still perfect,
unless you want him to sit in the bumbo, in which case he will most definitely not cooperate.
My mom got him this onesie and the "Wild Things" references will literally never get old.
Best one I can get of a grin.

Schedule-ish: There really is no schedule but he has sort of a rough pattern. He wakes up 5-7 (usually closer to 7 because he is amazing), takes an early morning nap in the car seat if we are going somewhere or the swing if we are at home. He eats every 2 1/2-3 hours during the day and has an awake period and then a little napping time after each feeding. I have been working on trying to get a bedtime of 7:30-8 before I go back to work, but he does not really like to stay asleep until pretty late. I will put him down in his bed & he will wake up after a bit & we repeat this pattern for awhile.  He only eats once (sometimes twice) in the middle of the night, though.
Little tie month stickers from Bobble Cole
and the big stickers from GG because we like to document things around here!
 I just love his expressions.
I found this funny.

-He started moving off of the boppy lounger at night about 5 weeks, but I kept him on it until 7 weeks because I was nervous about straight cribbing it, but it has been ok. He has rolled from front to back twice, but is not super mobile since he lives in the swaddle/swing.

-He is a pretty good nurser, which is a good thing because the poor guy does not get to enjoy a meal in peace. I am always having to prevent Anderson from burning the house down when we are at home and trying to hide in a corner and feed him when we are in public. Nicole & I always joke about how " convenient" it is when we are sweating in the car nursing or are literally the only person who the kid can rely on for a meal. But, he really is a pretty good eater.

-He is definitely in 3 month clothes, mostly for length instead of weight. I love all of his little clothes.

-He does not smile that often, but usually Brandon can get one out of him.

-I am so in love with this baby and just cannot believe he is mine. I swear there still are moments when I have just sort of remembered him and I get to relive it all over again. He makes me so happy!

  1. Who would have EVER thought that Mr. Max would actually be perfect, take a pacifier...and that you would ENJOY him? Nothing against the idea of Max that we had before we actually HAD Max, of course, but I love that he is prozac and perfect.

The picture of him on the couch is hilarious.
Love the black and white one.

The "convenience" of breast feeding can kiss my ass.

  2. He kills me with that bumpo prejudice. I love his little expressions, and I cannot believe how much bigger he has gotten already - he is gaining on his Wild Thing stuffed animal!
