GREEN EGGS! We really lived up the Easter season around here because what is not to love about a holiday? Anderson went to 4 egg hunts and is now quite the expert at finding green eggs. At the church egg hunt, he only picked up green ones, which I thought was hilarious. He would step over the other colors to get the green ones. HAM (and A LOT of other food:) at GG's on Easter!
Egg Hunt #1: Food City. Because the # 1 rule for having fun it to include the BFF, Jack, Clare & Lizzi went with us.Uncle Austin was there to show them the ropes. He works there and made sure they found a lot of eggs.
Egg Hunt #2: Church. As we waited for it to start, we noticed that our kids were literally the only ones running around, chasing each other under tables and acting like trains. What a boring life it must be for those other parents.

Egg Hunt #3: Fox Den with GG. He got a pretty good stash of mostly green eggs & had so much fun on the inflatables! I will get those pics on here later.
Waiting for "Go" is rough when you're 2.
Egg Hunt #4: the neighborhood. (actually, this was the first one because it was last week, but I don't want to have to change everything) Someone put unwrapped jelly beans in their eggs, which we thought was weird. Doesn't the no unwrapped candy rule apply to all holidays?
Green cookie, green napkin, green juice box and a green basket with green eggs. The Life.
My mom took him to the mall to see the Easter Bunny! She snapped her own pic. Take that, $20 mall picture people.
At his school Easter party. (He looks confused. I think he is tired. The no nap thing is taking a toll on everyone around here)
The egg hunt at our house.
Bubbles with Pappaw!
We made green cupcakes!
How cute is this kid? This was taken DURING church. (Ahem. ) He is actually pretty good during mass, he is just loud. Has not quite picked up on the whisper skill. And, he we let him pick where he wanted to sit, so we were in the front row.
I got this outfit for $1 with the tags still on it! GG provided the shirt and shoes and he looked so, so cute. I figure this is definitely the last year he will let me put him in something like this. Unless, we promise to take him to a bobcat again next year and then we can do whatever we want.
A visit from the Easter bunny!

I am cracking up about the first row. Love the green!
ReplyDeleteFor Easter, I want a big truck, a bobcat,...
can't believe his easter shirt wasn't green!! clearly an oversight...loving that he stepped over the other colors to get to the green eggs!
ReplyDeleteHe looked cute in his outfit. I know it was so cute that he only picked out green eggs. :)
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable. How on earth did you hit up 4 egg hunts? We only did one and I was exhausted afterwards.
ReplyDeleteGo Green! I love that of all things to go for in his Easter basket from the Bunny... he goes for the green grass, of course!!! He is precious.
ReplyDeleteThat Easter outfit is adorable, including how everything is green :) And we loved hitting up all those egg hunts with you guys! Hooray for BFFs!
ReplyDeletethe front row. . .hahahahahaha!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen your blog popped up on my list I thought for sure this was a post about Dr. Suess! Anderson is adorable and I love that he has a fascination with green. Too cute. I'm sure you are counting down the days to summer break when you can be home with your munchkin. I know I am!
ReplyDeleteI have spent many a church service outside. Boys just might be the death of me. Sometimes I think I am going to get a note from the church saying, "Please keep your child quiet, or keep him at home." Just kidding, the other people don't even seem to care. I am the only one.
ReplyDeleteHis obsession with green is AWESOME! Period.
The front row! I love it! I also love how he only picked out green Easter eggs, he's totally committed to green. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this guy!
