The word of the week: Bobcat. BOBCAT!! Also, Moon is a close second. He loves pointing out moons in books & thought the C on our Welcome mat was a moon.
Cute little shirt from Aunt LoLo.
A certain someone thought it was hilarious to spray everyone with water. Only, GG got this tiny little stream & somehow he figured out how to full force it when I was standing right in front of him. It was a tad shocking. I love his face!
More goodies from Aunt LoLo! Not only does she take my husband in on Saturdays to he can work on his jeep, but she sends food and presents for Anderson & Lily!!
Another zoo trip! (It's free. This is going to be a common occurrence.) When he sees alligators, he does the little hand motion & says, "Snap, snap."
Tractor day at the zoo! It's a good thing my kid isn't spoiled or anything.
We convinced Noni to buy a grandparent pass to the zoo so we can bring her with us on our outings (and get free parking).
EYE MOMS: Here's a good laugh! This was in Parent magazine as part of the article about making "difficult" events easier. I am pretty sure that Anderson doesn't rub a cotton ball with baby oil on his patch before he rips it off.

I love Capri Suns SO much better than juice boxes because they are way less tempting to squeeze juice everywhere. What is it about his ability to drink a capri sun that makes him such a grown up?

Dancing with Uncle Curtis!!
Anderson has definitely decided that Uncle Curtis is one of his favorite people! How cute is this picture??
Happy Birthday to Brandon!! Birthdays are such a fun time to spend with family:)
Adorableness on the couch. Just reading a book. Sigh.
We are really trying to take Anderson to mass every week but our church doesn't have a nursery/kids program & the cry room is tiny without air conditioning. To keep his attention, we spend a lot of time trying to find Jesus. There is a huge crucifix above the alter & a smaller one in the cry room. It seriously is the cutest thing when we go to Communion & he starts frantically waving at Jesus. He saw this one at home & insisted that Jesus have a snack with him.
Here is a short video of him at the zoo. He LOVES the water.

He is just adorable.. Love the picture of Jesus eating a snack with him.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Lots of love to all!
ReplyDeleteAunt Lo-Lo
Baby oil sounds like a great idea, right in the eye! NOT. I love how they classify taking a band-aid off as "a difficult event." Ha, seriously?! I guess us mom's are just WAY too broken in for that bit of advice.
ReplyDeletethank goodness aunt debbie has someone to go to the zoo with. good grief, she loves going there... and i can't believe your church doesn't have a nursery or anything??? what??? is it a new church?
ReplyDeleteLove the Uncle Curtis picture! And the book reading - the boy is SMART!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!!! I think Austin's condition made me stop sweating the small stuff. Austin doesn't either. He bumps his head, he moves on. No tears. Taking a "band-aid" off of his face makes him happy... It is not a difficult event. Also, that is horrible about the church nursery. I wouldn't survive church without our fully equipped nursery. Snacks, diapers, toys, crib, and much more. You need to make a serious suggestion to them... =D
ReplyDeleteOMG I remember when Jacob was his age and loved the book "Goodnight Moon" I must know it by heart. I had a copy at my house and Shannon had one at her house. boohoo my baby is all grown up and Anderson is too far away for me to read to him. BooHoo
ReplyDeleteI love Jesus having a snack with Anderson! How many times a day do you just want to hug the cuteness right out of that boy!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Brandon too!! Curtis kind of stole his thunder though, that kissing picture is adorable!
