Anderson at 11 months:
-He is definitely starting to copy our movements: he shakes his head no, he kisses his glowworm good night after we kiss him, he tries to feed himself, he high fives (LOVES this! lots of giddiness every time), he always has to press the button to close the garage himself & he points at everything! He also will talk on the play cell phone we borrowed from Lily. Brandon & I pretend that it is ringing & talk for a minute & he takes it really seriously when we hand it to him.
-He is still ridiculously active-crawling/butt scooting everywhere! He is not very interested in walking as the butt scoot gives him mobility & a free hand, but he stands pretty solidly by himself. He just discovered standing from sitting without pulling up on anything. Also, he has taken the random step here and there but overall is just not interested.
-He loves the sisters. Every morning as soon as I pick him up he is twisting around trying to find them. He will not take his bottle until we have seen both of them.
-He is obsessed with Brandon. People say, "Oh, they love their daddies!" and I really want to correct them. This is not just love. This is to the point where Brandon can't come in the room if anyone else wants any attention from him. LOVES his daddy. It's really cute actually.
-Anyone want to lose a few pounds? Then come by about 6:45 & you can give Anderson a bath & get him dressed. I guarantee you will lose a few in one visit. It is exhausting. He is pretty much done with the "here's a random object to pacify you for a minute" stage. I can get him to stop moving if I sing or do a cheer! He loves the cheers. I knew that working a part time job in addition to my full time one would pay off for something.
-Foodwise, his new favorite is goldfish crackers. He has been sick the last few days so he wouldn't eat much. Noni usually can get him to eat even when I can't so he has survived on yogurt & banana baby food at Noni's & goldfish crackers at home. I am hoping that normal appetite will return soon.

-He says "dada" and "yay"!

Still rocking the pirate thing.

On a few unrelated notes...This is the coat rack at my parents' house. Yes, it has 4 of Anderson's jackets on it. He has officially taken over their lives. (I know it's weird that he has 4 jackets, but a consignment sale/grandmas who buy him lots of stuff are the causes of that)
I made him this little Christmas tie shirt! He loves it.

I love the picture of Anderson in the Christmas tie. He looks like he is ready to bolt out a solo ...OOO Holy Night.
