Anderson is 2 months old! Technically he was 2 months last Sunday, but it's been a busy week....We took lots of pictures trying to get one with a smile but he is determined not to participate. We celebrated by taking him to the doctor! He was so good and let the doc poke around without even crying. He weighs 11 lbs, is 22 3/4 inches and has a 40cm head circumference. There is something about hearing the pounds that your kid has gained that validates your existence as a parent. He can't really give me any feedback yet, but at least I know he is growing and isn't survival really what this is all about? Speaking of feedback, we definitely got some of that when he got his shots. He was not a fan. Neither was I, cowering in the corner. I made Brandon talk to him during the shots because I didn't want him to associate me with the pain and then I swooped in like the hero to pick him up and snuggle as soon as it was over. It does sound pretty terrible when it is in writing. Brandon still gets more smiles, so I think it's ok.

He still has a little mohawk action! I cannot believe how different 2 months is than 1 month. It really is like night and day. Or I should say day and night because there really weren't a lot of nights in the first month. Does it just keep getting better?? I can't believe it.
