Life at 3 weeks...

3 weeks old!!
Today was Anderson's 3 week doctor visit and he is perfect, which I already knew. He weighs 9.3 (45th%ile & almost 1 1/2 oz. a day since his last visit!), is 21.25 inches long (50th%ile) and is in the 45th%ile for head circumference (i guess he won't look like Lily too much, after all....:) The doctor answered my entire list of questions very patiently & calmed my fears of creating an overly dependent adult by saying that you can't spoil a baby this young by holding him too much. Good thing since I probably wasn't going to put him down anyway. Today is also his first holiday & Groundhog Day is very fitting since that was one of our nicknames for him when I was pregnant! He liked to burrow down & hide so we couldn't see him during ultrasounds...like a precious groundhog.

In addition to rodent nicknames, I took to calling him a pirate!! Argghh. I had this weird pirate infatuation after I found out he was a boy & have big plans for his pirate themed birthday party. I also have this storypeople print in my kitchen. To me it sums up everything having a boy is going to be.

During Anderson's third week, he had a lot of fun...

The first official Glover family outing-Uncle Curtis turned 27! Anderson was so good the entire time...too bad this was the only sleep for that 24 hour period...

Happy Birthday, Uncle Curtis!! Maybe he will use this to make baby food for us!

How cute...3 generations!

Introduction to the bottle... Brandon is a pro at it already!

It is so much fun when he is awake because now he can focus on us...we're looking forward to that smile!
