Max 5th Grade Football

Max's 10u team went 7-3 and ended up placing 2nd in the league (out of 13 teams!) I was so proud of him for carrying the weight of playing QB all season and for getting knocked down and always getting back up. His teammates are the best kind of friends and it was a great season!

Austin took a ton of AWESOME pics!
Love this one of him reading the plays

Just so proud of him

It was a million degrees in the first games of the season.

He was tackled and sacked A LOT, but toughened it out!
Thank goodness for the O line

Pep rally one weekend with the team!
Marley :)
FHS game one evening-shadow boxing with friends.

Max, Nelson, Graham & Da'Vaughn

He also did kick off during most of the season

#1 fans!

OLD videos:

Love, love, love his little team.

They ended up winning the first 2 rounds of the playoffs and beating teams they lost to in the regular season. They were both very exciting (and, hot) and it was so much fun to watch them come together and overcome adversity and WIN!!!!
They lost in the championship to AE. Max got hit pretty hard & it was the ONLY time all season that it took him a few minutes to get up (I had to jump the fence to go on the field, but he was ok!)

Probably my favorite pic of the season!
This season lasted over 4 months and included a million hours of practices and games in BURNING heat and FREEZING cold & Max never complained. I am so grateful for his coaches who believe in him and do everything possible to set him up for success.

I am always so sad when the season is over and already looking forward to next year!
