Anderson had an amazing year for 9u Farragut football this year. He loves football SO much and I love watching him excel at something he loves. He was #13 for Levi, of course. He played Running Back, Wide Receiver, Strong Safety & (sometimes) back-up Quarterback.
I am totally bragging, but he is really so much fun to watch.
His sideways team.
A photographer took some awesome pics.
He scored 15 touchdowns this year.
He also had so many tackles.
Breaking ankles.
Practice one night
He never wanted to leave practice.
This stiff arm picture is probably my favorite of all of them.
Also, LOTS of this.
And, this.
My favorite part of all of the games. Anderson is so lucky to have Brandon because he provides such a balance of encouragement and advice. His feedback is always very specific; he would definitely score a 5 in that indicator if he was a teacher.
I love watching him play at the place that made me a teacher.
Next year they will both be in unforms and I already cannot handle it.
Some of his teammates.
SO much entertaining Max at ALL OF THE THINGS.
In a crazy twist, 2 of his buddies from Goddard are Anderson's cheerleaders!
Love those double color eyes.
Warming up before a game.
Again, I love their debrief chats after all of the practices and games.
Brandon is, for sure, his # 1 supporter.
Farragut HS game tailgating.
Bop loved watching his games.
Same.
Because I have a problem, I also made him run Cross Country.
This was at Cove Lake. It was really pretty.
We only made it to 4 total meets because of conflicts and logistics, but I am still really glad that he did it.
The first 3 meets were SO hot, but I love spending the time with him.
He struggled a bit at the Regional Meet and was really disappointed in his time, but he wanted to prove himself in the State Meet and he totally did. He won 2nd in the JV STATE MEET. I was so proud of him because he beat a lot of Varsity times and, most importantly, he set his own PR and proved to himself that he can do it!.
His time was 6:16 and he is already making plans to improve it for next year.
Can you spot Max?
Probably the best part of the Cross Country season was the party at the end of the season at Adventure Action Park. They rented out the place and the boys both had so much fun.
