Max, our favorite tornado, managed to break his finger by...falling on it. We were at the Brimer's house & they were all playing & he literally just fell and landed weird. It had been a couple of months since our last ER visit, so it was probably about time anyway.
He was terrified of getting a shot and I promised him that he wouldn't get one (I thought it was just dislocated...) and let's just sat that someone got a brand new Lego set the day after his TWO numbing shots.
Cast #1...
Cast #2....
He was honestly so excited about it & immediately knew what color he wanted.
About 4 hours after he got Cast #2 put on, this happened.
Then, we went swimming because the guy PROMISED that the mitt thing would not leak.
Well, it did.
So...we ended up back at KOC for Cast #3.
The WOMAN who did this one said that the mitt thing was WAY TOO big and gave us a smaller size. She also hooked us up with a much better cast.
Of course we were at a park within 2 hours getting the new cast.
And, we ended up at Ijams the next day. I did a fabulous job keeping it protected.
He really did not let the cast slow him down.
He hates when I take his picture, so I had to sneak these.
I couldn't resist.
Constantly on a mission to stay entertained.
3 LONG weeks later, it was off!
The smell...was terrible.
We hit up the pool IMMEDIATELY after he got it off.
Love that both of my boys now have stitches AND broken bones to cross of their lists.
