Spring Break

Spring Break 2019: We didn't really go anywhere, but we did fit a lot of stuff in around here during the week.

Every weekend starts with basketball. 

I got to take Lily to her acro performance!

She did such a great job & looked so pretty & it was so much fun to see her having fun with her friends. I love these ones on one times with my nieces. 

We celebrated St. Patty's wth some valentines shaped cupcakes with Christmas sprinkles. 

Always visiting Dick's-this time Brandon showed them how it was done. 

I took the boys to House Mountain-they were NOT happy about going, but ended up enjoying it. 

We made it to the top!

It was a little more intense than I expected-lots of boulders and trees on the "path."

It was also pretty steep. 

Nature's obstacle course. 

It ended up really fun & I am glad that we went. 

I started the boys in a session of swim lessons, with the intention being for them to practice floating on their backs. 

We hit up the East TN History Museum one day, 

And then wandered over to World's Fair Park for a bit. 

Love these people.

Max as invited to his very first sleepover and he had an amazing time. He was SO excited that he packed every piece of clothing he owns. And, by packed, I mean he threw a bunch of clothes ON TOP of his bag. 

*Spoiler alert: he ended up coming home around 10pm that night when the other kid's mom called and told me that "Max thinks it would be best if he was with his mom." Love. 

Thanks to my hoarding of free activity cards at the FIS Spring Carnival, we hit up Main Event for free. 

Brandon took off & we went hiking at Frozen Head State Park. Even though it was a little chilly, it was really fun & we will definitely go back!

We were basically the only people out there!

I was terrified when they were up there, let's be honest. 

I spy Max. 

We went to visit Nicole for a night & I took exactly one picture. 

Coke floats at 10pm on our second to last night of Spring Break!

Curtis did a fundraiser event for Friends of Literacy & we all went to support him!

These boys had so many orange drinks. 

Brandon & Curtis won the whole tournament!
