February.

Gabs is my favorite.

One day Max & I spent HOURS making lego zombies and I was honestly more proud than him.

We hit up the new Dunkin Donuts for a free donut...

ticket booth fun...

AND a prize of an autographed Rick Barnes ball!

Working on Valentine's...also, eating the candy.
We had some really nice days so we moved outside.

Noni, Bop & GG came over for the Super Bowl!

I AM OBSESSED!

Max's teachers is amazing & sends home these activity bags once a month. Max is always excited to do them-ignore his face.

I forget what he really looks like & love the few non-glasses pics that we have of him.

Flucation/Flood Day for 987 days-Gabs was the happiest of everyone.

Max has been obsessed with drawing lately-he loves to spell things out in "fancy" letters & draw random military weapons.
Max. Love.

Yet another thing that Brandon does amazingly is drawing.
Brandon made me a book for Valentine's Day. It is probably my favorite gift that he has ever given me-so thoughtful!

I gave him a giant bag of Sour Patch kids, so I am equally as thoughtful.

It rained the ENTIRE month.

We escaped outside during every break in the rain.

Lego Movie 2-I fell asleep.

During the 98 days off this month, we had lots of friends over to make it through.

DQ with Jack!

So much camo.

I literally had to force people outside to play, but it happened.

Flucation

We got 3 days off for the flu, which gave us a 5 day weekend. This was all of the emotions-excitement, fear & exhaustion all at once.

Max's fish died & he was SO upset that we offered him a frog as a replacement. We hit up PetSmart & almost left with a snake....

Max was very excited about the whole process &  I was terrified about letting him hold it by himself.

Apparently, they have to climb, so we had to leave with this apparatus. Also, it smells like dirt in our house, so go ahead & file that under "things we should have researched first."

His name is Buddy & he is actually super cute, so we will see how this goes.

All of the forts & Nerf guns.

We ate lunch at Culver's one day & these 2 were very invested in the coloring pages.

Indoor party on a horribly rainy day=winning.

Brandon even got in on the fun.

We were able to celebrate Reese's birthday! We went roller skating & it was really fun. Reese did an awesome job skating. My kids struggled, but stuck it out and ended up improving.

These cousins are growing up.

Of course Noni & Bop were there, joining in on the fun.

Reese-the cutest.

It was 48 degrees (but sunny) so we spent a lot of time outside.

Thankful for the brief moments of sunshine.

Lots & LOTS & LOTS of this kind of indoor "fun."

We hit up the Ripley's Aquarium with some friends who had free tickets. It was definitely fun to get out of the house.

Max was SO excited about this turtle.

I paid the $3 so they could feed the sting rays dead fish heads. Gag.

We went to a pizza/arcade place for lunch & our neighbor knew the owner, so they got free arcade time! Max LOVES these Jurassic Park games.

And, of course Anderson broke his glasses over the "break" so we ended up getting new ones....again. Because is it really a break without a trip to get new glasses?? I also let them have coffee at 4pm because I was done by that point.

Fun Times.

Max: Kindergarten basketball

Max played basketball for CBFO's Thunder this year. To nobody's surprise, he LOVED the uniform SO much.

Their team ended up actually winning a few games (this was a surprise...his coach was a struggle) and he hustled a lot during the games.

He always had a huge cheering section.

I could NOT get him to smile for his pics until I said, "Think about Reese coming over!" and he then he GRINNED. For real. Love.

I did not buy a team pic, but there was an extra so we ended up with one anyway.

Throughout the season, he added accessories...a blue headband, blue socks & some blue shoes of Anderson's that we found in the closet.

Cupcakes for the tournament! I actually assumed there would be only one game (single elimination) and the cupcakes were supposed to be an end of year celebration of sorts, but they won...so we celebrated* that instead.

*Max did NOT celebrate the fact that he had to play another game.

I ordered trophies for the team because they really worked so hard this year. They started off really rough but ended up winning 4 games and a playoff game. Max worked harder for this participation trophy than Anderson ever has for any that he was "won." I am really proud of him!
