Max's "Me Bag":
1. Saltwater crocodile that opens it mouth.
2. Lego creation of some kind.
3. Grenade (LOTS of talk about if this was appropriate to bring to school-he ended up being so worried about it that we traded it for a tank.
4. Pictures from our Orlando trip last year.
He found a bug one day and kept showing us....
SO focused on his hair-he is very concerned about the length and is hoping it grows out soon. It is onlt this
We walked together into his school every day until October 4 when he requested to use the car line.
Love his snuggly self when he is asleep.
Shark attack re-creation.
He is not the one focused and ready to play....
I looked up and he literally had his shirt off.
He has so many fans.
His first library book from school was about Fighter Planes.
This kid is a MASTER at riding his bike. He seriously does amazing.
I walked out of the garage so see a one-shoed Max playing with raw egg.
His September "Family Project" was to document an apple with his 5 senses. We somehow turned it into a huge mess.
COVERED in dirt after every game.
I had to soak it multiple times in Borax and wash it over and over to get it even semi-presentable.
I just love the last times that we have with monkeys, Max Jr and Monster Blanket. I know he is going to outgrow all of this soon.
He wears layers & layers of clothes every day, despite insanely hot temperatures.
His class won the "Party in a Box" and he got to represent his class on the announcements! He was SO excited.
A visit to Wonder Works....
Mom helped him make a bag for "Johnny Appleseed Day" because she is amazing.
His teacher sends home these suitcase activities that are so cute.
Johnny Appleseed Day-this was the best pic I could get.
He worked so hard on this letter for Reese.
"I wonder when you are coming to my house."
Max somehow got covered in a poison ivy rash-the only logical conclusion is that he was actually naked in the plant.
Working on a craft project.
Always, always, always,
Pony birthday party!
He ate an entire blue push pop on the way to school because I believe in excelling at parenting.
SO, SO, SO many practices for Anderson which result in lots of entertaining/homework on the grass.
Pajama Day! He really struggled with this day because he wanted to wear his camo costume but also his pajamas. At one point, he double layered them but then had a total meltdown in the car so we readjusted.
Some funny things:
1. Max: "Why can't I turn my head all of the way around my body like an owl?" He was very, very upset and we proceeded to have a 20-minute conversation about this injustice.
2. When he woke up the other day he panicked and started screaming, "My hydration is dead; I am SO thirsty!"
3. "Whenever I am trying to do something, like work on a Lego project, everyone is talking to me and does not even let me build. I have never even made a video to share with people I don't know."
4. "There is a kid in my class and he is a 'Friend stealer." If you are playing with a friend, he will come up and steal them from you. He's never done it yet, but I think he will."
