Snow Day #1:
Technically they did not miss school for this snow, but it was still considered a "snow day" in my mind because snow clothes were worn and soaked.
I love everything about their ambitiousness of snowing without actual snow.
I love this one SO much.
Also, this one is the best for so many reasons: there is not actually any snow, Anderson looks more like himself as he is checking out the scene so he can take charge and Max is being himself by just throwing himself into the situation.
Snow Day #2:
Technically, this was like 4 days, but we will call it the 2nd snow. We spent A LOT of time outside and A LOT of time inside. I love these memories, but am also happy when there is not any snow on the horizon for awhile.
After a few days of sledding, we were desperate to try new things in our snowy ditch.
Max was SO mad at me that I made him wear a coat, a hat AND gloves in the 8 degree weather.
Love this one of him.
I was there, freezing my butt off for hours at a time in single digit weather.
When the snow first started falling, the flakes were SO cool. I have never seen such intricately detailed flakes and we spent a lot of time looking at all of them.
So much of this.
We were cooped inside for a few days AND Brandon had the flu! Poor Brandon-normally you at least get to be home by yourself when you take a sick day, but not him!
Our ditch is my absolute favorite thing about our house.
We went exploring for animals one day. We spent so much time following actual animal tracks; it was really cool. It was also 8 degrees that morning so it was also really cold. Ha ha ha ha!
We were going borderline crazy by the end.
I had to go to work one day before school was back in session and Noni took this kid swimming. He had been BEGGING to go so he was very happy.
She also spoiled them with legos. They are both obsessed with them.
