I do love a nice little 5 day weekend in the middle of the school year.
On Wed, this kid & I had a "free day" where we went to Salsarita's, Dicks, Academy and ran a bunch of other errands. Max went to daycare, which I already miss for next year.
I bought them each a little lego set which bought me a little time...
This rare moment of sharing had to be captured.
We have started making s'mores dip which they think is amazing and they are super impressed with my ability to bake something with more than one ingredient.
Also, please note the big head in the corner. That thing is my favorite.
Anderson & I did a "Fun Run" on Thanksgiving morning and it was freezing but it actually was fun and I think we are going to try a 5k next. He actually beat me by quite a bit on the 1 mile run, so this next event should prove to be entertaining.
We always end up outside for hours whenever we are off school.
As usual, GG hosted a wonderful Thanksgiving experience for all of us. I am always so impressed with her decorations and yummy food!
Thankful for this guy.
And, this one.
And, this one on the left.
And all of the above....
Family time!
Because long weekends are L-O-N-G, we did many activities to fill some hours.
Home Depot ornaments...
**
Me: Max, we can put a picture in this ornament! What is your favorite memory of the year that you have been 4? Maybe a trip that we took, somewhere fun that we went, something fun that we did....anything?
Max: I really liked that time that we went to Target.
So....there's that.
Random outside time...always.
Because we had to get out of the house, we went to Ijams where we hiked, had fun and Max fell in the pond.
Thank goodness I keep back up clothes, including shoes, in my car.
Anderson used money in his bank to buy this overpriced purple rock thing for Noni. He was so excited about it and just knew that she was going to love it.
