We had an awesome Mother's Day weekend! The boys (Brandon) got me a new FitBit so I can continue my quest of being #1 on my friends list in steps without actually working out, we celebrated our 2 favorite grandmas and we enjoyed quite a bit of football!
First up, I took Mom to get a pedicure at 9am on Saturday morning and I took this very high quality pic that does not actually include our toes.
At some point on Saturday afternoon Max made me this amazing meal.
And, within seconds he was assisting me in eating it. He really does enjoy the experience as well as the gift.
Max was spot on with his list about me and it was possibly by favorite gift because he said I am really good at MAGIC!!!!! My goal of transforming our family from Muggles to Wizards/Witch is working.
And, my favorite on Anderson's is my love of Spongebob. I honestly do not think my kids have ever seen me watch TV. This is not because I am anti-TV; it is because I am not sure I have sat down during their childhoods when they have been awake. This is called "my personality" and it has many, many flaws associated with it. Also, I do wear work out clothes....to not actually work out. Ha ha. SPOT ON!
I love this pic of my mom with this goat because it sums up her approach to parenting/grandparenting as she just jumps right into whatever is happening.
Because nothing says love like a lighthouse birdhouse.
4 Glovers together.
Love, love, love these baby boys who made me a Mama.
We took Toni to lunch to celebrate her and I got ZERO pics of her with her boys because Curtis ran out before I managed to snag one. I did get this cute one which I actually prefer because it shows one of the many reasons we love her: she spent 3 hours at football with us on Mother's Day!
Also, I am always so inspired by how much Brandon basically worships Toni and I am hoping that it is some kind of genetic trait that my boys will automatically inherit.
Anderson painted this for Noni.
Not pictured: the beautiful green coffee mug that Max painted for GG since "her favorite color is green." (Spoiler: that is actually Max's favorite color....)
So grateful to have all of these people in my life!
