Some things we love.

We LOVE when our girls come to visit...

We LOVE Uncle Curtis' talent! (this is chalk!!)

We definitely, definitely love this baby boy pants.
First snuggle time with Uncle Brandon.

We love Ferg's silliness

and his genuine love of certain things (not everything-the boy does not fake happiness.)
Max loves the zombie movies that Uncle Zack made him of everyone.

I love my planning ability and the fact that I decided to freeze breakfast burritos so that I will actually eat breakfast every day during the week. I am always so grumpy during the day because I am STARVING and I literally do not get 5 minutes to each lunch (is that even legal? I do not know, but it's an amazing weight loss plan), so I decided to address the issue and make breakfasts that are easy to prepare.

Brandon loves ordering ice cream and then giving it to Max.

These boys loved when I couldn't find the soccer field (how are there 8 different locations for soccer practice?) and we hit up a playground instead-this really was the highlight of their day, I think.

We love Big Cousin Noah and were so sad to miss his Confirmation, but we sent love from afar.

Anderson is currently loving birds. It is odd, but he has a book called, "Field Guide to North American Birds" that he has literally begged for on every Petco trip for the last 6 months and it was finally on clearance so I got it for him.
We love 5 year old Jack-and the fact that Clare had them pose in front of a whale!

Pics from school

I LOVE THEIR SCHOOL for so many reasons, but one of the main ones is because of the pics that I get every day.

Here are a few pics that I have received over the last few weeks:

Anderson brought his planetarium from Aunt LoLo to show Earth for the letter E. When I picked him up that day, he said, "That was the coolest show & tell anyone has ever brought!"

You can't even tell from his pics that he SCREAMS hysterically every morning we go to school- on the car ride, walking in, as I hand him off, etc.

Dr. Seuss month. Anderson was clearly thrilled.

The dino phase was strong (again) for awhile.

I think this post is a theme of close ups of Ferg. My favorite kind of theme.

A different day..he does own more shirts, but he LOVES this digger shirt.

I love that the "Art" they do is actually what they do and not forced projects because I think it reinforces their imaginations.  I also love that they send it home because I clearly need to save this masterpiece.

"U" show & tell-A leopard shark that was Underwater. I love his show & tells.
An "April Fools" photo booth at their school. This kid.

He found this seed growing in his sandbox and was so excited to bring it to school since they were talking about gardening. He also loves when I take his picture.

Twice a year, you can sign up for you pics and pay a small fee. If you know anything about me, you know that "small fee" prevented that from happening for the last 3 years, but I decided do this session because it is the last time that they will be together.

I love this one so much. Perhaps more than anything, I want to know what Max thought when he got to see Anderson at school. They are separated all day in their own rooms and I know they must have loved seeing each other. Anderson used to go check on him through the window (with his teacher), but that did NOT help Max's separation issues, so we had to stop that. I think they must have enjoyed seeing each other on this day.

Those toes.

The planner in me did not forget I was picture day, hence the outfits. BUT, I did forget shoes that were not dirty/neon. As I was carrying in 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, a million supply cups, blankets/sheets/loveys back up clothes for Max (he always ends up in his by the end of the day), diapers, etc. I just did not make it in with good shoes, too. So, I improvised and told the teachers to just take the shoes off for the pics and I am SO glad I did because HOW EDIBLE ARE THOSE TOES??

My Ferg.

(The outfit is brought to you by the $1 sale at Adorable Child)

Is every post about us being outside??

We love the library-the books AND the park right next to it.

The boy and his 3 year old $1 net.

Library, again. Max & his friend.

I am always on a jeep or a scooter or something with this Ferg.

Park visit with Marisa, Clare & Nicole where we took over the swings!

I honestly did not even know he knew how to do the monkey bars and now, apparently, it his favorite hobby, as he told his teacher.

Not outside, but it is a pool, which is normally outside... This boy loves the pool and his Noni.

We spend a lot of weekend mornings just roaming around wherever we can that is within walking distance of our house. We will walk, "fish", "hunt" and explore for hours and then when we get home it will be something like 9:37am and I am really close to just giving up.

I think I have been quoted the last few years about this festival and every year they have misquoted me to give me a grammatical error.

Our ditch. We spend a lot of time there.

We also spend a lot of time taking over our neighbor's swingset.
Uncle Curtis took Anderson fishing and they found a little turtle that he named "Spots on Bottom," which apparently was very accurate.
Brandon is way more fun than I am.

Anderson got stuck on top of a tree branch thing and I had to go get him. Mom took pics as documentation. It is in our genes.

Feeding ducks with Uncle Curtis. These ducks LOVE them some Glovers with the exception of the smallest Glovers who are generally terrifying to them.

"Helping" plant a garden at Noni's led to this. Do you see Max jumping? HE WAS PUMPED!

It turned into the best part of the day for both of them. So much giggling was happening in that moment in that dirty water.

This post will not have a theme.

There are moments when I cannot resist a squeal from the cuteness overload.

And, again.

So many early morning science experiments.

Thanks to Sunny for the Science kit!

And then there was the time that Brandon taught Anderson how to light leaves on fire with a magnifying glass. Apparently, I am raising boys.

Anderson always wants to go swimming at the Y and Max is so excited that he gets to join. I love our Y so much.
Anderson's new rec specs....which Max always tries to steal. They do look pretty cute, but I don't need both of my kids in glasses before elementary school.

I love when I get picture updates of the boys from Noni. It looks like their lives are continuing be really boring.

Because work is a real part of who I am, I need to occasionally document that side of me. Selfie with these people that I get to work with to document the first master schedule I worked on!
side note: I am overwhelmed all of the time...BUT, I seriously love my job. It is a pretty nice gig.

Outside is our happy place.

As is, this.
And, NOTHING is happier than festivals! I love, love our library festival and we have not missed a year since A was born. There was face painting, cookies to decorate, crafts to do, popcorn and hot dogs to eat and BEST OF ALL-kids books were only $1!

I told him he could pick out 4 and somehow we ended up buying 5 because how could I turn down a book about venom??

*I also bought a few extra for stockings/Easter baskets/etc. The hoarding is year long around here.

I stole this from Instagram. Baby Levi was there, in my arms.

Kindergarten Round Up took place a few weeks ago and I got one, incredibly high quality picture. I am pretty excited about the next stage of life with this kid because THEY STOP NAPPING IN KINDERGARTEN! Also, I am ready to see what he can do, I have a feeling there will be projects and I like projects, there are class parties, kindergarten is FREE (taxes, I realize, but still), he is so cute at this computer and he is going to be in Jack's class (prediction.)

So many wins.

For a few reasons I took off work* last week and hung out/ran a bunch of errands with these guys. One of which was new lenses which took 2 hours to fit, so we ended up at ChickFilA with a million other people in the pouring rain at 12 on a Thursday. Does nobody actually work? It was way more crowded than a weekend. Anyway, love his glasses less face.

*I actually went in for 2 hours, thanks to Toni being able to watch them, but took a full day off. So, no waste of tax payer money.
