3 weeks

3 weeks in & I am still definitely planning on keeping him.
I think Max looks more like Brandon than he does Anderson at the same age... Anderson at 3 weeks for comparison.

He is chubs in comparison to Bug.

I think Anderson is sick of me not being able to play with him all of the time*, so he has totally bonded with Chloe. This is a dangerous combination.

*Older child=rain on the maternity leave parade...just being honest. I am loving the summer time with my Bug, but I can't help but think how much easier parts of this new baby gig would be if the older one just napped occasionally. A one hour break each day might save my sanity.
First visit to the zoo at Petco for Max & Anderson decided he wants a snake & a water dragon. (Probably not, Bug.) You really can see the reptiles better at Petco than at the zoo, so we enjoy these visits.
New pool at Noni's! Thankful my parents got him this, but more thankful they got in with him because it was freezing!
Baby #2 sure has to be a trooper is one thing I have discovered. Before he was 3 weeks old, Max made many trips to grocery stores, the library, Jiffy Lube, parks & Chickfila. I try to respect the fact that he is a newborn, but the pantry is not going to fill itself! People keep saying, "You are brave for taking a 1/2/3 week old out!"  and then they see Anderson's energy and they usually get it pretty quickly.

 My favorite view!
This face. He is still perfect.
Outside playtime with Jack with the new Ninja Turtle sprinkler from Bobble Cole. Constantly on a mission to entertain the Bug. (Yes, he is rocking the pjs.)
Basically the last 3 weeks have been wonderful because this sweetness overload has made me so happy!

  1. Lets just be honest, Anderson gets his energy from you...that is why Max has been on so many outings. I am sure in a few months, he will crawling along on the floor with Anderson and Chloe. I love the picture of Anderson and Chloe.

  2. Holy cow. Anderson at 3 weeks?!?! I forgot you were blogging then!!! I will go look at all of those posts later I am sure. He and Max look very alike, I think. It makes me shudder a little to look at those pictures in that 3 week post, though, because I bet you were miserable.

I do see a certain Ninja Turtle sprinkler that you told me he didn't need. Ahem.

  4. So cute! I also clicked on your Anderson link and got lost looking at your old posts. Crazy!

I forgot about sprinklers - I should get one for the kids. I used to love those silly things!
