When I was pregnant, everyone always asked the same 3 questions, in this order:
1)Are you having a boy or a girl?
2) What are you naming him?
3) Just Max?
Just Max.
First, he is my kid and I do not owe public an explanation as to my baby's name, especially when I have heard some of the names out there...
I have just always loved, loved the name Max. It's not that I have anything wrong with Maxwell or Maximus or any other longer version of the short form; I just like Max.
Just like this boy, it makes me happy.
Now that he is here and is actually our MAX, I realize he was destined to be our baby Max all along.
And he is such a perfect Max, don't you think?
The meaning of Max?
The Greatest.
So, to me, he is Just the Greatest.
Nothing else is needed.

The cuteness from this post is almost unbearable. Such a gorgeous, handsome and precious little dude. I LOVE the name Max and think three letters is just perfect. And it seems your heart did grow three sizes that day.

ReplyDeleteJust Max?!?!!? Um Max is SUPER cool. Maximus sounds too.....um.....Greek. ;) I would've done "Max" as well. Love it.

Seriously, you are going to love that his name is short AND consists of all straight lines (MAX). It is so awesome. I can always entertain Lily by spelling her name out with random things.
It's going to be cool for him to see his name all over the world, too! Maybe he will be good at Math? Since max can be a math word in a way? Could be good.
He is sooooo adorable. I expected nothing less. BUT oh my WORD! He is SOOOO perfectly squishy! Congrats. Have fun cuddling with him. Cuddle him once (or twice) for this iMom! Anderson is going to have so much fun teaching all kinds of rottenness! :D
ReplyDeleteYou could not ask for a better name. It just means he will live life to the MAX and you will get MAXIMUM enjoyment out of your boys with him here. I love him - the chin picture is the best!!!
ReplyDeleteStarting this post with "When I WAS pregnant" made me a bit sad, it's over. But then seeing MAX, scrolling through each and every lil pose of his perfection... I'm happy now. :) He is already growing, hold on tight. Congrats again, love him!
