We have had quite the chance to celebrate some very special people in our lives lately! First, Jack is 3 years old! I just cannot believe it. Even though I have a 3 year old, it seems crazy that Clare and I both do now. What happened to our days of watching "America's Next Top Model" and setting up play dates for our dogs??
Lucy is 3 months old, too! When did this happen? Time...slow down!
Clare did such a great job with a very festive Cars themed birthday party & Anderson looked forward to it for weeks. The perk of being the BFF is that you get to help unwrap the presents (and attempt to help blow out the candles...)
And, because they are wonderful, a few of my old cheerleaders gave me a "cheer-y" shower for Max! I had no idea what kind of absolute wonderfulness I was stepping into when I accepted the job as cheer sponsor at FHS 6 years ago. These girls and their moms were such a part of my life and it was so, so great to see them. Tess (sister of the Max that I had as a student and loved) drew this invitation! What on earth.
They represented all of the different teams over the past 6 years! Max received some super cute stuff and it was just so great to catch up with all of them.
To say this kid has been spoiled rotten by his grandmas already would be an understatement! I am so grateful for all they do for us every day!
Speaking of, Anderson spends quite a bit of time living it up at GG's. He is obsessed right now with hiding and having us finding him. He mostly loves to play this game in the pantry at GG's!
After what seemed like a week of straight rain, we celebrated the fact that it finally stopped!
I definitely celebrated the fact that I have the greatest people living in my house. I woke up one morning and could not find Brandon and when I went to Anderson's room this is what I saw... I ran to get my camera and was so afraid one of them was going to move. This might be my favorite picture ever. (Until there is a 3rd one snuggled up next to them, of course!)
We always celebrate Show & Tell on Fridays at school. As soon as I saw that the letter of the week was an L, I knew what (who) he was going to bring. After I explained that Lily cannot actually go to school with him, he settled on a picture. (Too bad the letter was not Y, since he actually calls her Yily.)
Speaking of...we definitely celebrate Anderson having the best childhood ever, like trips to meet the cousins at Dollywood on a random Wed. I love how Pops is going to keep them in the ride. I fully realize I should be embarrassed that I get to go to work all day while my kid is having the time of his life....
We celebrated the fact that Anderson fell asleep before 9pm one day last week! Precious heart.
His school is celebrating moms & this is what he said about why he loves me...I am not sure about the money thing, but I love the fact that Max & books got shout outs!
Mom & I celebrated the fact that I am going to have a baby soon and am OCD and needed to run a million errands before he arrives by getting haircuts, pedicures, literally running 40 errands and enjoying a giant bowl of cheese dip! I told Nicole that days like that make me sad for future me for not having a grown up daughter. In the background of our call, Lily was refusing to share her blanket with Reese, causing hysterics and Nicole said, "You can have my daughters whenever you want them."
And, we are celebrating spring! ( PLEASE STOP RAINING!!)
