Her party was at Wallabee's (how do you spell that?), which is the greatest inflatable place ever. Seriously, it is huge but contained and has this great area clearly built for little boys because you just jump on stuff and attack people with foamy things.
Noni always makes herself useful, like snuggling with a girl.
It is way more fun to go to a bouncy place with Daddy rather than your giant pregnant mom.
Celebrity appearance by Bop the Balloon Man! He was the HIT of the party, for sure!
I. am. dying.
(the only kid out of about 25 who had icing all over his face)
One of Lily's present was a slurpee maker and Brandon took the whole process very seriously.
Lily sort of accidentally caught a fish. It was hilarious. Hughes thought the line was snagged, but there actually was a fish on it. Anderson kept poking it in the eye and we literally could not get Lily any closer to it than this. Ultimately, Anderson's need to touch it "one more time" meant a little back floating for the poor guy by they time they threw him back in the water. And, oh yes, Anderson is wearing a Spider girl costume that we made into a boy version.
Just hanging out Under the Sea.
The pieces, you ask? Why she was also there being as precious and perfect as always! Until Nicole left and we had to give her a bottle, but let's not dwell on that part... :)

hahaha, I'm assuming she didn't take the bottle? Little stinker! That ALWAYS happens, when you think they'll take it and they do before, then the one time the mom isn't around she won't. I love how you called her "The Pieces"
ReplyDeleteThe party looked fun for sure. Your dad is seriously so talented!!!!!!!!
I love that you have a million hour a week job and still managed to post about the party before me. Thanks for coming.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I am pretty sure they ALREADY realize how lucky they are to have each other. They are setting a high standard for Reese and Max to rise to in the BFF world.
Love the look in his eye in the purple icing picture. He looks so ...like a boy or something.
Under the Sea. Haha.
Thanks for raising my kids.
Loving the spider girl costume. Who knew there even was a spider girl??
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even tell that he was wearing a "spider girl" costume, totally thought it was a boy one. I was focusing on the pink spider girl dress on lily. and her face, keeping an eye on that fish...
ReplyDeleteI love a man who takes the putting together of/figuring out how to work toys. In the past, only because Jon is usually cooking breakfast for everyone (I am so ashamed), I typically have just thrown various new toys Jacob has gotten for Christmas onto the lap of whatever boyfriend Hallie has had at the time, and said, here, welcome to the family. These have ranged from Valerio, Steve, and now Josh. And the toys have included Transformers (shudder), remote control helicopter (not as easy to figure out as you would think), and a Ben 10 alien making machine. Put 'em to work, I say.
***still not a nursery post. almost slipped by that time...
ReplyDeleteSo fun. I want a slurpee machine now! Anderson with the icing is classic. That is all boy right there. I think it is time to post another belly pic...the imom's are anxious to see you!
ReplyDeleteI am way behind on blog reading. I had to comment even though it is really late. I LOVE the icing picture. That is SOOO Austin!
