I am sorry. I wasn't allowed to complain on my blog, so I am glad you are being honest. It sucks. All of my friends who are doing it are STILL doing it. I think it just really takes like 2 months at least. This (3 weeks right?) is when I almost quit.
nicole, why weren't you allowed to complain??? wth. melissa, i didn't even start with jacob until after he turned 3 (much to mom's disgust). it took him two weeks to get the hang of peeing in the potty and make it through naps. we didn't successfully triumph over pooping in the potty till, goodness, 6 months later maybe?? and he didn't start making it through the night until a year later. maybe longer. all the while, he refused to wear pull ups because that made him "feel like a baby." so i washed sheets and bedspread EVERY DAY. he will get it. don't stress. and if you want to go back to diapers for your own sanity, DO IT.
Hilarious! Yea I completely gave up on my first attempt that I made before she was two. I am going to try again in a few weeks and am hopeful it will go much more smoothly. It just sucks, i think, no matter when you do it!

ReplyDeleteHe is awesome.
You can do it! This is why it took us until 3 and a half to get there, my insane son REFUSED to do it - until one day, he did.
ReplyDeleteAnderson is awesome, he will get there. Don't let this ruin the fun!
I am sorry!
