the other eye

I am so much more aware of eyes than a normal person. I see them everywhere. Especially when there is only one eye. I decided it is time for me to focus on "The Other Eye" for just a few minutes because I don't want to take anything for granted and we really, really love that right eye.It is our guarantee, our default, our thank goodness.

Look at that boy without his glasses or patch. The right one just rocking it out. Brandon just walked by and said, "Why is there a baby picture of me on there?"So true.

An actual baby pic of Brandon. Love the cars that he is holding-those are the ones Anderson plays with at GG's!

  2. Ha, don't worry it's not just you. I can tell if the check out girl in the grocery store is wearing contact lens! And don't ask me why I'm even bothering to look it's like my radar for eyes is just permanently on. I know you get it, you wrote this post. And so glad you did! That other eye most definitely deserves some lovin! Anderson's baby blues are just shinning so bright, love it.

  3. Nope- not just you! I am not only focused on whether or not they have a contact, but if one eye is smaller than the other! (I'm convinced it is true for most people, but I've become slightly obsessed by it!) I also have a little shopping addiction to pirate items- especially ones with the patch! Love your blog!

  5. Love the comparison of Father and Son. That is amazing. He couldn't deny Anderson, not that any person in their right mind would want to. I am glad to know that I am not the only one who does the whole looking deep in random people's eyes. I can't help it.

  6. Hi there! Blogs are somewhat foreign to me, but I found yours doing some research on congenital cataracts. My daughter was just diagnosed last week with a cataract in her left eye and is having surgery this Thursday. I just read your entire blog (the eye part at least) in one sitting. It is very comforting to know that I am not alone. I felt like I could have been writing all the words that you said. Thank you for sharing.
