Anderson LOVES being outside & has lately taken to wearing his rain boots. He can even put them on himself! They have little bugs on them. Perfect for my bug.
Apparently, the patch & glasses are NOT his favorite things, since he threw them in the garbage. I heard the lid, peeped in & was thankful I had just taken the full bag out.
Olives!! I was eating some & he loved them! He gets this from his Bop, for sure.
Baby! Mom watched Jeannies' precious baby girl, Violet, for a few days last week & Anderson LOVED her. He is sharing some bread with her & he loved to rock her in her seat. I love her little V onesie!
Watching garbage trucks with Dad is definitely a favorite. He actually pulled the chair down on himself the other day in his desperation to get to the sacred vehicles.
Apparently, old favorites are new again. He found this upstairs, insisted I bring it down for him to play with & actually wanted to sit in it.
My worm/girl/#1/Chloe is definitely one of my favorite things BECAUSE of (not, as you might think, in spite of,) her energy, spontaneity & ability to always be true to herself. This girl is nothing if not consistent. She consistently will figure out how to make everything just a tad more difficult for her parents, but that means that she consistently adds a certain element of entertainment to our lives. I love how she never, ever shares with Gabbi, but will tolerate her most of the time. I love how she likes to eat lotion, shampoo and can catch bugs better than a frog. Flies are her favorite. I love how she has been with me for as long as I can remember, through 4 different apartments, 4 roommates, 2 cars & 4 couches. She is a trooper & will always be my first attempt at parenting. I say 'attempt' because I learned a lot about discipline and the need for boundaries with that one.
One of my favorite things is my Gabs with the little dirt smudge on her nose. I love how she sleeps on the bed with me or on the floor next to me. I love how good she is with Anderson & how much she worships Chloe. I love that I was a little scared of her when she was a puppy because she kind of looked like a wolf, but then I quickly realized that she is the sweetest girl ever. But, I also quite enjoy the wolf instinct that I know would protect us if we needed her. I love her obsession with tennis balls, her pink blanket & Chloe. She has pretty bad dysplasia in her right elbow, which she takes 3 different medications for, but she never complains. I am so proud of how she will sort of tolerate the ironing board now; she doesn't always sprint from the room when she sees Brandon getting it out of the closet. She is my second daughter.Definitely one of Anderson's favorite things is chalk! When you combine that with his Daddy & trucks/tractors, he is officially set.
The boy loves his piggies. Noni plays with his toes, saying, "Hi, chloe! Hi, Gabbi!" etc. & the other day I saw him greeting all of the family members by himself as he sat on the floor. Not the best video, but it captures the idea.
The first picture is the best. :) And love the shout out to the girls! Especially Chloe since she was really Bean's first friend. She's still talks about their playdates.
ReplyDeleteWHO IS THAT kindergartner in the first pic??? I LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteSO much here.
I love that Worms who eats the flies.
Go Gabs for not being scared of the ironing board.
Gyasses and patch in the garbage. :(
Who else eats olives for a snack? I have some in the fridge right now, too.
Piggies!
Yay! Violet is thrilled she made your blog. And I seriously think she misses your mom and Anderson after three days of fun with them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think our fridge has ever been empty of green olives. Perfect random snack food - Anderson has excellent taste.
Anderson is smart, but I have to give credit to Brandon for such awesome art work.. He does love his piggies. To cute.
ReplyDeletethat was some impressive art work!! and what is nicole talking about? kindergartner??
ReplyDeleteAlso, Lily keeps watching these videos. Two things: Brandon is talented. Also, Anderson is so...obedient or something. so cute.

The first picture is the cutest picture EVER! I agree with Nicole, Ace looks like a kindergartner!! I have decided that after watching the video with the chalk that Brandon is an artist and Anderson has a promising future in transportation. My first Logistics and Transportation class in college was pretty much naming all of these things (along with different types of trains and boats)Oh and I didn't have to learn garbage truck. Why did I not see this before?!?!? Is it possible you are raising my son!?!? Ha! Next time I'm in Knoxville I'll bring my transportation books and teach Anderson some basic equations...I'm totally kidding.
