the floor.

When you are 4 months old, you spend a lot of time on the floor. Please disregard the dog hair everywhere, as I really do vacuum ALL of the time. We are all shedding together.
Anderson & Jack had their first offical play date! Sesame Street was on, the toys were out, they were thrilled. Actually, they were holding hands for a minute, but we were not fast enough with the cameras!

The Munchkin has become very intrigued by the dogs; he loves how Gabs follows him around being protective and sharing her bones and he loves how Chloe (you know this is coming) wakes him up from his naps barking when the neighbors breathe too loudly.

Playing on the floor. Check out the random leg in the background. Where is the rest of the body?
Weird.
Shocked at how much he loves the monkey toy. Notice bodyguard Gabs in the background...
This boy wants to crawl SO badly. He gets so frustrated because he can get on all fours, but then can't figure out what comes next. Part of the currciulum at Noni & Bop's is crawling, so he gets lots of practice.
The bodyguard again. Possibly protecting him from Chloe? Ok, so I sound so mean. Of course I love the Chloeworm so much. She was my first child. She is just a little more intense than an average daughter, I think. She must be in her 7th grade phase. (Shout out to Nicole & Jessica...)

When Chloe decided to make an appearance, it was to wrestle with Gabbi right next to Anderson so I had to move them on the other side of the room. Such a good mom. He loves this blanket that my cousin, Vivian, made because it has all of these textures. Right now, he is intrigued (terrified?) by the wrestling event he has front row tickets for.

  2. first, anderson is so advanced to already be up on fours like that - i see a future athlete! next, i am glad your dogs show interest and protection to him, i think mine would shove Molly in front of a burglar to save themselves. Third, I was so embarassed when I first picked Molly up off our floor and she was covered in dog hair. Now I brush her off and move on.:) Last, get used to your hair shedding. Mine started when Molly was 3 1/2 mos old and is still going 3 mos later. It has slowed down, but I still have to brush my hair over the trashcan multiple times a day. I leave a trail wherever I go. Gross. One more thing, anderson is soooo cute! I love that his personality seems to really show in the pictures, I know he is so fun!

  3. I can never go this long without seeing the Munch, ever again. I love his little face!! Judging from everything you have said- the intensity, neediness, moodiness, loudness, etc...Chloe is definitely in the 7th grade phase. Try to bribe her with Jolly Ranchers, specifically the blue ones. They will do ANYTHING for a blue Jolly Rancher.

  4. if you ask me, our children will have superior immune systems BECAUSE we placed them on floors covered in dog hair. We are just looking out for their future well-being and refusing to have a bunch of sissy, sickly little boys :) Besides, I guarantee in 10 years the newest thing in the baby books will be "expose your child to dog hair. contrary to popular belief it actually has healing powers."
