HV 8u Football

This year Anderson played football for Hardin Valley. I work there, his coach was going there-it just made sense. We are, of course, glad that we made the switch because they ended up doing really well & he met some great new friends.

They ended up placing 2nd in the entire league and even joining forces to play in a tournament with the #1 team.

It is a really, really good thing that this kid loves him some football because it is a looooooong 6 months of our lives.

One of our first practices had a rainbow, which made me feel better because I was all kinds of anxious about the move.

Entertaining Max is ALWAYS exhausting because he really only watches my phone for about 4 minutes and practices are 2hours long. Seriously. SO.MUCH.ENTERTAINING.

Anderson picked out number 13 for Levi. Every time he scored, he made an L in the air.

These are some of the kids who played HV from Farragut last year.

A dad on the team is a professional photographer and took these awesome pics.

I love all of them so much.

The team.

#13.

Some of his buddies at the HVA/FHS game.

He attended the freezing cold UT Youth Day with his team.

Anderson's team joined with another Knoxville team for a tournament. They won 2/3 games and it was freezing and we were all SO ready for this season to end.

Max, just living his best life at one of the hundreds of football games.

Always grateful for youth sports and the lessons and fun and camaraderie that come along with them.

Halloween

Halloween decorations came out in full force one freezing cold morning.

I ordered Max a new costume from Target and he, of course, loved it.

We were BOOed twice-thankful for Team Mama!

I was able to go to the first hour of Max's Halloween party and it was so, so cute. He could see me through the window and he said, "I SEE MY MOM!!!" Also, when Mrs. Johns was giving instructions, he raised his hand and asked, "Do we get to be with our mom?" It was so stinking cute and completely validated any stress that I had from busting it to get over there.

Brandon FOR THE WIN on our pumpkins. He always does such a perfect job. The level of creative talent is strong in his genes.

Nobody really wants to trick or treat, but I did manage to snag a few pics.

Even though some friends came over/stopped by, nobody cared to hang out long. Anderson did find some high school kids to throw a football with, so he had a good evening.

Real life, right here.

Bop made a spider balloon for Max's class and it was a perfect addition to the hallway!

More Fall

We crashed a party at Jump Jam & Anderson was annoyed because there were not any kids playing dodgeball. He did end up having fun and I didn't have to pay a million dollars for an hour of jumping, so it was a win.

The mom had these super cute Nerf guns/bullets & goggles as the treat bags.

The hubs was trimming the rosebush & gave me the last one because he is so romantic like that.

Flexing.

Sick time with Noni.

October "Family Project" fo r Max's class.

Friends from baseball in various forms of military attire.

I have no idea what was happening here.

Main Event Party for Sunny!

Laser Tag is life.

The rest of the family project.

Thank goodness one of his parents has artistic skills.

Gabs is obsessed with Brandon.

If there is a tree, Max will find and climb it.

I mean, this is so cute.

Max. Legos. Love.

My car was keyed at work, which has resulted in some negative fun times and money around here. There is a lot of anger around this issue, so I will just leave this here.

Lincoln Log building. (Side note: nobody ever asks me to build anything with them.)

I saved my personal day and went to the pumpkin patch field trip with Max's class! It was actually pretty chilly, so it felt like fall. I asked him about his favorite part and he said, "Seeing you." Loved it.

He was SO excited to show this caterpillar to all of his friends & his teacher.

Because (on that day) the universe loved me, Anderson's "Fun Run" was at 1:10, so Max & I were able to stop by there and surprise him! Anderson was unable to sit for a picture because you know he heard the word, "run."

Brandon took him to the HVA/FHS game and they had to leave early because our dishwasher started leaking. (#RealLife)

Fall Festival at FPS-Max REFUSED to go (because he wanted to wear his costume but was afraid that big kids would make fun of him), so I had to force him in the car, but once we got there he had fun.

I have lost count of the number of pictures I have of this kid holding cotton candy.

Anderson was super annoyed because none of his friends were there, but he did end up having fun in spurts.
Max was happy to be reunited with a few of his Goddard friends.

We hit up the Y festival for some bounce house fun.

Aunt Manda visited and brought giant animals for everyone. #becauseauntmanda

Random church trick or treating with Goddard girls.

Marley's Mom took Max to another "Trunk or Treat" on a night that I had to work late.

Last baseball game....we were so done at that point that I just let him wear his normal pants and cut off gloves. These boys are friends of his from his kindergarten class.

Celebration at Dairy Queen with his team afterwards.

Noni went to eat lunch with this kid.
