Max-9 months

This boy.

Brandon is literally the greatest dad ever. I love watching how much our boys basically worship him.
Speaking of worship, someone loves his brother. Two someones, actually.

 At the Y with Noni.
I seriously birthed a blond child. My hair is not just dark, it is BLACK. This is crazy. And, perfect.
I feel like those are pretty broad stats. I have no idea what Anderson weighed at this point because I am too tired to look it up. I will do that one day soon.

*At his 9 month appt, we found out he had ANOTHER DOUBLE EAR INFECTION. It has literally not even been a month since his tubes were put in, which is frustrating.

**The most frustrating part is that this marks the 4th time I was making him Cry It Out in the middle of the night only to be asked by a doctor, "Has he not been crying at night? I am sure his ears are hurting him." Awesome pat on the back for me right there. Some people get babies who sleep through the night on their own, I get a baby who I can't even make cry because he has broken ears. (I win, though. My kid is cute.)

This boy:

loves to wave at himself & say bye-bye, can also say Brother, Daddy & Ball; loves his Monkey lovey, will not let me out of his sight if he can help it; crawls everywhere, pulls up on everything, cruises all over the place; has this perfect pair of blue eyes, blond hair that is getting a little shaggy & wears cotton balls in his ears in the tub; he loves to play with the basketball toy, everything his brother is playing with & his sisters; he goes to sleep like a rockstar about 7:15 and occasionally sleeps through the night; he has 4 teeth (2 on the top & 2 on the bottom); gets so excited about people that he loves & cannot stand being put in his carseat; is a trooper in every sense of the word as he is drug around everywhere, all of the time, handed random things to play with & fed at random times; is obsessed with riding toys; loves patty cake, itsy bitsy spider, baths, the vacuum, the dishwasher & the lower shelves of the fridge; has made me appreciate mommyhood in ways I never imagined.

The definition of neurotic might be taking your baby to the optometrist for his InfantSee appt even though he has already been seen (& cleared) by 2 Pediatric Ophthalmologists.

 Only a Catholic baby.

In short, he is perfect, he is mine and I am happy. (same goes for the face peeking around him, too)

The GLOVER family pics

A few weeks ago we had a family photo shoot at the Glovers house & I think it turned out great! I love the pic of these 2 because it reminds my why Brandon is the way he is-such a perfect combination of the 2 of them!
I am so lucky to be a brown part of this awesome family!
Look at these Glover boys! I think the photographer decided to go with the best looking one at the top...
So, every party has a pooper and in this case his name was RSV. Both boys had fevers & were super pitiful, but we didn't want to cancel because we already canceled once when they had norovirus (#Christmasplague.) I think every kid in  the world is sick for the entire month of Feb and we just started off the first day and have continued strong since then.
I love it!
How great are these people?? Is this really my life?

**Yes, yes it is. And, I would like to point this picture out to every middle school girl in America. Hang in there with your braces, big hair, unibrow and 90 lb self; it is going to be better than you imagine. Just hang in there and maybe get a straightening iron.

Snow days!

In one of the greatest* twists ever, we got some freak snow storm last week schools were closed for 3 days! Unlike the last time, I got all of the days off, too. We settled into a nice little routine of pajama wearing, random food eating, playing with everything and errand running.

*Not so great this week since we had to cram everything from last week into this one, too
We actually got some legit snow, which made me happy I had a sled & glow in the dark sand saved for the occasion! (it was the hoarder in me) One huge perk of early risers was the fact that we literally got all of the good snow & pretty much ruined it for everyone else when we wrote his name in it!

And...right around the time that it was 8 degrees outside & schools were closed our heater broke. We spent a day huddle around the tiny space heater, wearing multiple layers of clothing until Brandon fixed it for us. I have never been as happy as I was when I watched our heat slowly creep into the mid 50 degree range.

Just a lot of trapped inside festivities. The best part was that I was supposed to work late a few nights & was home with these guys instead. THE BEST, BEST PART? Max said his first word! Brother. I am serious. Bru-ther. He was trying to get into the room Anderson was in & the door was shut. The funny thing is that we don't call Anderson "brother", but I guess there have been a lot of phrases such as, "Give that back to your brother!", "where is your brother?", "Stop doing that to your brother", etc. around here, so Max picked up on it. I am serious when I say it was the cutest, sweetest thing ever. And, of course it makes sense that Brother was his first word since Anderson gets up with him at night, drug the pump around with him for 6 months, goes to work with spit up on him....oh, wait. *

*Me. That would be me. But, of course mama has not been said yet. No bitterness here, though.

We even made a race car track at Noni's once we decided to drive on the roads. One of the hardest parts about winter is the 4 year old, high energy boy who is trapped in my house. I really, really need it to warm up enough for him to play outside at school.

Anderson with his space craft (not space craft, as in rocket, but as in an actual craft)

Max saying brother & then us stalking him until he gets annoyed

January, in general

One thing I've been doing is laughing hysterically at this awesomeness sent to me by Shannon. The goats. The feeding test. Dying.
Cute little pic of this Bug. I love real grins.

Random things that have happened to me that I don't think are really "normal"-

-The whole identical twin thing
-My dad does balloon animals on IHOP on the weekends
-I am the only girl in the Glover family, which means I get the best gifts ;)
-My mom moved here to raise watch my kids (and, when she decided to get a part time job it was at the YMCA where she works in child care-to keep watching my kids- and help me get a discount on swim lessons & soccer)
-My brother drove a U-Haul over 12 hours in the rain to donate a bunch of computers* to my school

It's sort of weird and hilarious and, mostly, amazingly lucky for me all in one.

*literally, most of them are less than a few months old and they still have a multiple year warranty on them. He also brought new monitors and laser printers. Anyone who knows anything remotely about education knows that "technology" means 7 year old computers and maybe a SMART board. So, to get a new computer lab totally donated, basically out of the blue....pretty amazing.
He got there a little later than planned and most people were gone, so I recruited Brandon to help us unload. Here is a very high quality pic-I take random pictures at work, too. I am basically the same person in every facet of my life.
He brought a 27 inch monitor for me!

*You can take the girl out of the History classroom, but not the "Teddy is my hero" out of the girl.

 Snuggle bug.
Bop & Anderson "working" in their boots  (clean up messes and fix things, according to Anderson)
I spy a pretty cute little animal in there. The boy has a rough time at his Noni's.

He really loves riding toys,
especially when he is being pushed around by a cute girl!

Anderson is always hot (he gets so mad when I try to make him sleep in fleece pajamas even when it is 8degrees outside & our heat is broken), so he LOVES playing outside. He also loves breaking ice. Or, anything. He loves breaking anything.
Swimming at the Y with Noni!
My heart is right here. Just a blond haired, blue eyed heart.
Birthday party for a friend at a gymnastics place and Max LOVED the trampoline!
Another birthday party for a friend at the movie theater to see Frozen. I was a little skeptical since they are only 4, so I sent Brandon :) Anderson had such a fun time in the movie & they got a tour of the projector room, arcade tokens, a popcorn tray, etc. I can't believe he is old enough for movie parties.
We celebrated Curtis' birthday, too! I got a picture of one of the staples of all celebrations at the Glover house-GG doing everything. She is such an awesome hostess all of the time and we love celebrating Glover style!
And.....she got Curtis toilet paper! Ha ha! Welcome to 31! (He did get other presents, too...)
The Glover adults!
