End of Summer

The library park is always our default outside option when we just need to get out of the house. I always keep extra clothes (and shoes and towels) in my car and we always need them during a library creek trip.

I do hope they have these memories of their childhood together when they are older.

He really just loves Marley & I am so curious to see where their friendship goes once they are in school.
Fergus.

Buggus.

Tronus.

We met the girls & the Brimers at Splash Country one day and I let the boys hang out in the parking lot.

I love that they get along now.

Max. Bless.

The boys were so, so mad we had to leave the camping fun.

Max learned how to ride a bike! He literally learned on his first try, thanks to Brandon! He was so proud of this skidmark.

Birthday fun, thanks to Noni & Lily.

Max has started coach pitch baseball and it the practices are hot & long, but he does seem to like it at times.

This guy.

Anderson spent an afternoon on the lake with a friend and he LOVED it!

We have discovered that we can ride bikes to the park near us! What even is this life? Also, I actually wish I had a bike because running/panting to keep up with Max does not really fit in my fitness level.

We met the Brimers at the park!

Brandon's SWAT team had a family picnic at Metcalf Bottoms and we had so much fun!

They love, love, love catching things.

The water was freezing.

Love.

Love.

Love.

We jumped off of the rock. It was freezing. I was terrified.

The things they were catching were huge.

Max still just has a good time playing with some slime and dinosaurs and trucks.

Always exploring.

Max with his find.
GG hosted an August Birthday Celebration for all of the Glover kids...except Curtis! We loved seeing everyone and eating and eating eating!

Almost a groom and his grandfather!

GG was very efficient with her candle use for the 4 of us.

The FAM!

Push ups in the driveway with the cousins.

This fort took over our backyard for awhile and I loved it.

We crammed in a few more times to the pool before it closed.

Love the seriousness of the fort.

After 3 months, we finally ate outside and it was delicious and fabulous.

Life as a Hawk

I had the opportunity to work as an AP at a brand new middle school and I am really excited about it! So far, it has been very different because I am used to high school, but it is also fun to figure out new things.

A few pics of the construction-watching the building go up was really, really cool.

The library is amazing.

My new Admin team-Cory & Wendy.

The parents & Aunt Paula came to visit me one day, which was fun!

My office.

Always.

Boys: Kindergarten & 3rd Grade

Max: Kindergarten
Max started kindergarten & the jury is still out on how he feels about this. We had such an amazing set up at Goddard-the teachers truly loved Max, he was so comfortable there and he had a pretty tight group of friends who traveled from room to room together over the past 4 years. Max definitely misses his friends, Cozy corner, centers, naptime, 2 recess times, Monkey/Blanket/Max Jr at school with him and his buddies. But, I know that change is a pretty obvious part of life so he will be fine once he adapts. Plus, he gets to see his friends at KidTime!

One of the last pics of his Goddard days-I will really miss these daily pics!

Max met his teacher and agreed to pose with Finley! He is already starting off so differently than Anderson.

Posing in front of his cubby!

Less than one full week in and I am already in love with his teacher, Mrs. Johns.

I ran over there from our own "Meet the Teacher" time and Mom met me there with this kid. Always rushing, but always making it work, thanks to our village.

Another few Goddard pics mixed in here....

I will not actually miss the camo outfit wearing because it was a FIGHT every morning to make sure he had all of the correct pieces, which were always different than the pieces he chose the night before...fun times.

Love his willingness to "dress up" but still sneak the camo hat.

Giant backpack. He loves it.

Posing during our hours of extra time waiting in the cafeteria in the morning on his first day.

Love.

His teacher sent this home-Amazing.

The cutest pic I have ever seen. I cannot wait to see this kid's adventure in kindergarten!

 Anderson: 3rd Grade

Anderson started 3rd grade & it is the 1st year that his grade makes any actual sense to me. I am still trying to figure out how he is not already in middle school, at least, but I will take 3rd grade.

"First Day" pics are so hard to take because we have to walk to the bus at 6:28 and we are rushing and it is dark outside, so the lighting does not help, but I snagged this on his 6th night of school. Brandon got him a new bike and he LOVES it.

Posing with his teacher, Mrs. Stedham, and his buddy, Noah. I am really excited that he has a friend in his class this year!

Clare & I had a GNO at Kindergarten Open House-I will take it, even if it was not nearly long enough!
